Join, Leftcoast TVs vivacious entertainment host Laurie Belle on our newest segments of Get Cooking With the Stars; a lifestyle program featuring cooking with celebrities from the entertainment, fashion, music, sports, and arts arena. Viewers are invited to bring their appetites to sample the latest in gourmet culinary offerings, spiced up with current news from the show’s featured celebrity guest. From honing knife skills and how to make the perfect sushi roll to the latest celeb movie offering, this show has it covered with a spicy combo of gourmet cooking peppered with celeb tidbits.
Each episode showcases a famous chef (and restaurant), a featured star, and our host Laurie. The trio sets out on a culinary adventure, shopping for the fresh ingredients that will make up the day’s meal, stopping by diverse locales such as Chinatown or Granville Island. Viewers will see where the chef purchases his/her products and get tips for how to select and buy the best ingredients. The action then moves to the chef’s kitchen where the chef, the celebrity guest star, and Laurie all have a hand in creating a signature dish. Watch for trade secrets and not a few liquids to be spilled during this segment as Laurie and our guest go behind the scenes in the kitchens of some of Vancouver’s hottest eateries.

The show ends with Laurie and her special guest having an informal interview and enjoying the fruits of their labor at a private reserved table. In this intimate setting, guests chat with Laurie about their latest movie role or TV endeavor, hobbies, accomplishments. Recipes featured on the show are available to viewers via website and through a soon-to-be announced series celebrity cookbook. Laurie Belle, Leftcoast TV’s vivacious, stunning entertainment host, has a wealth of experience, in front of the camera in television/film and print media. She has worked locally and internationally, appeared as a model in music videos, magazines, TV commercials, and led to various guest-starring roles in TV. This makes her a natural fit for gracing film sets and interviewing top entertainment moguls. Laurie began her broadcast career at Rogers Television, this led to further hosting jobs as Fashion Berry TV host, then an offer from Leftcoast TV. Laurie’s on-air talent can currently be seen on two shows she segment produces and hosts for the Novus and now Shaw Network: Laurie brings admirable hosting skills to her craft and is at ease with Hollywood heavy hitters.
